Good to Great with David Meade!

Causeway Chamber of Commerce hosted an afternoon business workshop with David Meade, Wednesday 15th April at The Bushtown Hotel.

In this seminar, David, who is also a BBC television personality provided an energetic session that engaged and inspired delegates. Drawing from a range of top level research in leadership and innovation, David demonstrated how cutting edge innovative techniques can be used in the workplace to help them move from Good to Great by improving their decision making, communication, motivation, and leadership. At the end of the session, delegates left with a sound toolkit that they can use to improve their own organisational productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency.  David also recapped and refreshed on the many skills that he shared on his last visit with the chamber, while also shedding fresh light on new research that can dramatically improve the way we motivate, recognise, and reward our staff.

Speaking at the event the new Mayor for the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Michelle Knight McQuillan, stated “I am delighted to join you here for what promises to be an energetic and insightful event. Council is keen to support our local businesses and events like todays provide a great opportunity for Council to do just that.  The last few years have been tough for our local businesses, many of which have struggled to survive the austerity of recent years.  Through initiatives such as Project Alchemy, Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council will continue to provide support and opportunities to help our local businesses to grow and expand”.

David is a researcher and lecturer in international business with one of Ireland’s leading universities, whose personal interests have always focused on aspects of popular psychology, consumer behaviour and choice.  By combining these professional and personal passions with his love of performance of mentalism, David has an innovative style that forces audiences to think critically about the challenges around them.

Over the last number of years David Meade has become one of Europe’s most dynamic, engaging, and sought after keynote speakers and has established his reputation as a cornerstone international speaker on how organisations can work better.

After the seminar, the attendees had the opportunity network and to speak with David about the topics he covered during the seminar.

This event was supported by Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council.
